Guildford, 2015.

I’m a guitarist and tutor based in Surrey.  I play and teach all contemporary styles of guitar, but have a particular interest and enthusiasm for what has come to be known as Gypsy Jazz:   the sub-genre of swing that is synonymous with the music of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli.

As well as teaching in a number of schools across Surrey, In recent years I’ve been a course lead at ACM Guildford where I lectured in music performance and production on level 2 and 3 diplomas, and occasionally at undergraduate level.  I now work as an area manager for Surrey Arts (Surrey Music Hub) and manage instrumental tuition across Waverley and Mole Valley.

I hold a Masters in Music Performance (Mmus) from The University of Surrey, and in 2014 completed a diploma in teaching in the further education sector (DTLLS).  Prior to all of that, I’ve had the pleasure of studying with guitar luminaries Pete Callard, Dario Cortese and Nigel Price.

To enquire about tuition (or anything else for that matter) just drop me a line via the contact page!
